  • Pro-tip: If you park at Kléber-Trocadéro, board bus 22 from Gare Saint-Lazare to Charles de Gaulle - Etoile - Friedland.
    If you park at Indigo Etoile Wagram, it’s a 5-minute walk to the arch.
  • The arch is surrounded by one of the busiest roundabouts in Paris, connecting 12 avenues. Expect chaotic traffic.

Vélib' stations on rue Arsène Houssaye, avenue Hoche, rue Beaujon, rue Balzac and rue Traktir.

  • The monument can only be reached via the Passage du Souvenir, a tunnel at the top of the Avenue des Champs-Elysées.
  • How to access it? 
    Enter the tunnel from the Champs-Élysée Avenue or the Avenue de la Grande Armée side.
    Access the tunnel from the Wagram exit of the Metro.
  • You should purchase a tunnel pass (€8 for adults, €6.50 for a group of 20 adults, and €5 for students aged 18–25).
  • Since the arch is located at the center of a large roundabout, crossing the circle is a dangerous challenge to undertake.


Note: This passageway is inaccessible to people with reduced mobility. A drop-off point is provided on the median opposite the Avenue de la Grande Armée; it is marked by a blue pictogram on the ground.
